You can visit Estrella Mountain Regional Park for an afternoon of fishing, hiking, or biking. The Coldwater Golf Club is both beautiful and affordable. An 18-screen movie pavilion not only screens the latest releases, but it also hosts film festivals and unique cinema series.

Casa Grande, Arizona

Gold Canyon, Arizona

Gold Canyon is a newer city and isn’t yet incorporated. This well-maintained area is 45 minutes away from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and has a variety of affordable homes available.

It’s a great place to take advantage of the sun and beautiful weather in Arizona. There are restaurants, small shops, and a health club in town. Goodyear, Arizona

If you want to be close to Phoenix but not directly in the city, consider Goodyear. It’s only four miles from the capital, but it has its own feel and charm.

The Fall Festival is one of the most popular events in the area, and the Goodyear ballpark hosts spring training baseball that’s fun to watch.
